final words

Hey everyone, I just wanna say this has been an incredible project to work on. I personally have grown a lot in my technique through this years project because I was able to expose myself more to Adobe programs I don't use very often like Photoshop and Illustrator. Along with that I got to work with multiple actors and really get my hands dirty with the struggle of making a variety of different products essentially on my own. Even just trying to figure out a whole marketing campaign, which was not what I would have originally thought it would be, was insane so I wanna say thank you to the actors that were willing to work on this project with me and thank you to my friends that would look at my project and give me feed back and support me throughout. But most importantly thank you all for following along and hope you enjoy the final products for PRIDE.

Planning for CCR

Hello everyone,  I decided to follow a "behind the scenes interview' style to the filming of my CCR. I asked my friend Nicholas Ramos before I left for SLSC if he would be willing to act as the interview host and he said he was willing to help. I finished writing the script for my CCR with my responses to the questions needed to be answered but also Nicholas' responses ( link to script ) . We will be filming tomorrow (April 12) after school, I can't wait to discuss my project with him and really dive into the making of my project on camera!

Finished website

Hello everyone, I finally finished the website! I had started working on it my free day last week (April 3) but I was finally able to work on it on my way back to South Florida. As I mentioned in previous posts I modeled it off of other teen film websites. Most of the teen films were created by big name companies who had their own websites and then had a page dedicated to the film but I decided that I like how it looked when all the content was simple and you were able to scroll through it all on the one page so I decided to do just that. Along with that I decided to keep the same theme of the poster with the website and decided to do some more drawings to use around the website rather than just pictures of the characters. I will be putting out the link of the website along with the finalized poster and movie trailers up on this blog at the week, I am so excited for you all to see them!

It's been a while

Hello everyone, long time no chat! I'm sorry but let me side track from the project a little to tell you about why I haven't been very present these past two weeks.
Florida State Officer team +  HS National Officer (far left - Adam Cavanaugh)
For the past week (starting April 5th) I have been at the 2018 - 2019 SkillsUSA Florida State Leadership and Skills Conference (also known as SLSC). I was not only competing at the conference but I was also a State Officer which meant I was played a large part in the planing of the entire conference and I helped make things run smoothly at the conference as well. In result this entire week I have been running around working and doing my hardest to make sure I could do my part in making things work out well. I didn't win in my competition but I was still extremely with the end results of this conference. Also to add I have been a part of this organization for four years and have been a State Officer elect for the past two, this being my last year due to me being a senior in high school. Needless to say an hour ago at the end of closing ceremonies (when we took the picture above) I was quite emotional and quite honestly don't regret spending every waking moment this week solely focused on this conference.
Silent Film team (Dean Milan, Oliver Sulla, and I)
On top of all of that I had my last Student Television Network (also known as STN) convention the week prior to last (March 26 to April 3).  I have also been participating in this organization for the past four years of my high school career. With that being said I had never won an award for an individual contest (individual in this convention means small team of students competing to create a video) and I won second place in the nation with my silent film team (the one in the picture above). Suffice to say it has been an emotional and eventful past two weeks but I can't wait to release this project soon and be able to discuss the final products with you all!

Finished poster

Hey everyone, I finished the poster! I am really excited with how it looks. I don't wanna show it to you all yet but I'll give you some insight into how it looks. I decided that I wanted to just grab one of the photos of Dylan looking straight at the camera because not only it matched more with the overall image, but also because I decided to give a creative twist to it. So it took a lot more work but I decided to take one of the pictures of Dylan and draw it. I thought it would match with the idea of this film but also would match the genre with the typical teenage film movie theater posters.
